The truth is healthy food does not have to be bland or tasteless. With a little bit of creativity, you can make great tasting meals that are healthy.

Here are 4 easy healthy food recipes you can make at home in no time at all:

1. Broccoli, Feta Cheese and Dill Omelet

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped Broccoli
  • 2 large Eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled Feta Cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon Dried Dill

Instructions:

Heat a non-stick skillet and cook broccoli for 3 minutes. In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, feta cheese and dried dill. Pour egg mixture into skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes; then flip and finish cooking for 2 minutes.

2. Protein Power Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 6 Egg Whites
  • 50 grams Oatmeal, dry
  • 50 grams Blueberries
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • Dash of Nutmeg

Instructions:

Pour all ingredients in a blender and mix until thick. Heat a non-stick skillet and pour enough batter to make 10 cm pancakes. Cook until bubbles form then flip to other side. Top with Almond Butter.

3. Chicken And Black Beans Platter

Ingredients:

  • 3 Chicken Breasts
  • 450 grams Black Beans
  • 250 grams White Onion, diced
  • 5 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cumin

Instructions:

Mix the paprika, chili powder and ground cumin, rub on the chicken breasts and marinade overnight.

Heat a non-stick skillet. Cook both sides of the chicken breasts until golden brown. Set aside chicken breasts.

Lower the heat then add olive oil to pan and mix in onions and garlic. When onions are lightly browned, pour in black beans then add back chicken breasts.

Add ½ cup water then salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 20 minutes under low heat.

4. Lean And Mean Beef Rice Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Organic Ground Beef
  • 250 grams Onions, diced
  • 250 grams Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Low Sodium Oyster Sauce
  • 3 cups cooked Organic Wild Rice

Instructions:

Cook the ground organic beef and drain the excess oil. Set aside the cooked beef. Lightly brown the onions and mushrooms with olive oil then add back the cooked beef. Add the cooked Organic Wild Rice, oyster sauce and mix together.
